On the 29th September 2007 we took Pasha for his 5 month routine immunization schedule injections. This time he was getting the DPT + Oral Polio (3rd dose) and HIB Meningitis (3rd dose). Before meeting the doctor, Diah and I speculated whether or not Pasha would cry out when being injected since he is cleverer now and can tell the difference between pleasure and pain. He did not cry during the last injection in July.

Pasha was his usual joyful self that morning and he was as excited as ever to go out. What he didn't know that we are going to see the doctor but then when we got to the hospital, he was not even bothered. So, that was great!

Just look at him with the doctor. He was smiling from ear to ear and he somehow knew what was going to happen to him when the doctor took off his pants and started to swab him with that cold stuff (what do you call that?) that was supposed to lessen the pain. When the needle went him, he just made a sound. Something that went like "Ark..." and that was it. He continued smiling as we told him that he was just being bitten by an ant.
It was a great day and we were glad that things went on smoothly and everyone was having a cheerful time.
