On the way back to Bear's hometown

It was interesting to observe Baby Bear's reaction to the world outside Little Lion's womb. At about 25 weeks, Baby Bear's reactions were quite obvious when it came to certain situations, such as:

1. When the sun was too bright.
2. When the road was bumpy.
3. When the car moved too fast.
4. When we passed a big truck.
5. When we haven't reached my hometown after few hours.
6. When we safely arrived at my hometown.
7. When Lion and Bear chatted about Baby Bear.
8. When Lion and Bear chatted about other things.
9. When Bear was too busy handling the steering wheel.
10. When Bear had one hand on Lion's tummy.

Little Lion experienced the kicking and tickling and based on the way Baby Bear kicked or tickled, Little Lion would know whether Baby Bear was enjoying the events or was trying to get away from them.

I seriously didn't expect that a baby in the womb would really interact with the outside world. That was simply amazing!

Firstly, we had lunch at sushi king subang jaya before we went to kuala lipis last weekend... bear had Karei Nitsuke Set and I had Tori Teriyaki Don simply yummeeeh!!! left USJ around 2.30pm and arrived safely at 6.00pm... at night, while bear was enjoying the TV, I helped mak a bit to clean up her ikan bilis used as one of the condiments for nasi lemak bungkus (packed) that we would be selling on sunday.. kepegelan duduk lama... habis magrib and dinner terus bobo...

on sunday we left d house very early since we were selling this food for breakfast... arrived at the spot at 7 and finished at 9.30... pretty quick session... quite interesting, we met many ppl most of them were mak's old customers and she was happy to introduce her son and me to some of them... next thing was grocery shopping at the traditional market there.. and i got my own stuff too to make hommy pisang goreng (banana fritters)...

bahan2nya cmn tepung beras banyak (rice flour), tepung gandum (wheat flour) dikit, tepung kanji (tapioca flour) dikit, sebutir telor ayam(an egg), gula (sugar), garem (salt)... gampang kan... :smug:
habis ashar kita diajakin emak ngunjungin salah satu family yg lagi sakit... trus habis balikin emak ke rumah langsung pulang ke KL.. jalanan macet... nyampe rumah dah malem ajah... capek... tapi masih aja sempet nemenin beruang nonton Anugerah Berita Harian... sampe ketiduran... so that's our weekend.. how's yours!? ;;-)

Right after breakfast at McD and while on the way to pick up our laundry, we saw an advert on a baby products warehouse sale at My Dear. Since we had nothing else to do, we decided to drop by at that place.

There were not that many people when we got there. Probably because it was still early. We went in, looked around, asked around and we found that the products were quite good, quality wise, and the price was much cheaper compared to the actual products found at the baby shops or malls.

So, we bought a buggy that comes complete with a car seat cum carrier. Although the folded size is quite big and it takes away half of the boot space but we like it since it is much sturdier than the others there.

We also bought a playpen and the reason for the choice was simply the color, material and it can be folded neatly into a bag so that it can be easily brought with us if we need to travel with Baby Bear.

And the best part, Baby Bear gave his usual approval KICK! Ouucchh!!!

we went to demc on friday... and the MD offer their program to us.. Uhmm... one day antenatal class... i think we will take this class on march.. and this is what we are going to get:
9.30 - 10.00am : Registration / Breakfast
10.00 - 11.00am : Pregnancy & Labour Process (by O & G Specialist)
11.00 - 11.45am : Pain Relief / Epidural (by Anaestatist)
11.45 - 12.30pm : Care of the New Born (by Paediatrician)
12.30 - 1.00pm : Nutrition During Pregnancy (by Nutritionist)
1.00 - 2.00pm : Lunch Break
2.00 - 3.30pm : Breathing Techniques during Labour Process (by Physiotherapist)
3.30 - 4.30pm : Antenatal Excercise (by Physiotherapist)
btw, is anyone been there before??? i mean being on this kind of class...

Hello %blog%! I am 24 weeks old today! Have a look at my photo. Mama, Papa and I went to see the obstetrician for the first time today. She's quite a nice lady but she did not take lots of photo like the previous MD.

That's the photo of my head there. If you look carefully, you can see that my EDD will be on 16/05/2007. Weeeeee!!!! Everybody is extremely excited now!!!

"summ of d gift from mom" we spent our weekend @ my parent's home... till i get my multiple entry visa ready i think i will be traveling every month to my parent's home... my mom had arrived earlier on wed from jakarta... and I got many present from her and my sisters... they bought me preggy mom dresses.. 3/4 pants... and more books & magazines for updated info on Indonesia.. it's a lovely to spend time with my mom.. i miss her so much...


at nite we all went to a surau to celebrate the Moslem's new year eve with summ neighbors... went to a wedding party on sat afternoon (*my chance to wear a new dress hehehe... ) and at sat night papa bear had to wear a Javanese traditional costume just to watch wayang kulit and accompany my dad to celebrate 1 Suro 1940 EHE or Javanese New Year's Eve ... similar time with the moslem's new year...
hehehe cute enough, isn't he??? ;-)) :D we went back on monday by ferry... unlike d day that we came... d wave was quite rough on the way back home... and i forgot to bring my anti sea sickness pill... uuggh.. all i could do was sleep on bear's lap.. then my tummy felt better.. abt 7 we arrived home after we had dinner and shopped for a gift for my sister's b'day... it felt good to be home again... I miss my astro channels... ;;-)

The Best Feeling Ever!

I have discovered the best feeling ever in my life. It is none other than to feel baby bear kicks, rolls, punches and tickles little lion's tummy. It has become my latest addiction since these past few months.

I have to put my hands on little lion's tummy every morning when I wake up, before I go to work, when I get back from work and before I doze off for the night. I would be very restless whenever I could not feel any movement. Fortunately, with baby bear, all I need to do is just rest my hands a bit longer on little lion's tummy and he will come over and touch my hand, as if he were saying, "I am here papa!".

During active moments, I could even see baby bear's movement as he swam from left to right and top to bottom. Occasionally, those movements were followed by "Ouch!!!" from little lion. Pity my Princess Honeybunch. Baby Bear can really get quite rough sometimes eh?

finaly!!! :phew: :phew: i can fully access my blog now!!! i've been trying to access it since dec 07 and never been able to read the comments in my last entry.. huh!! the taiwan earthquake thingy stopped my blogging fun... :dunno: amazing!!! so... here are summ updates...

end of dec 2007
i left my flat shoes at my parent's home in dumai... and they're the only i have... i do not use my high heels ne more since i got pregnant... so on the 24th, when vincci was having a year end discount for members... we went there and i got two brand new pretty shoes... :devil: :devil: :devil: couldn't make him stop yawning when i shopped for d shoes... :P thank u pap... :hugs: :luvit:



last control was on dec 27.. the ultra sound result said he's a baby boy! Yes!!! i knew it from d start! eheheeh... a mother's feelings could never go wrong! :devil: he's a healthy boy... kicking more often and harder than before... especially when he wants summthing badly... he's so demanding... qeqeqe... dunno what would happen when he is outside d womb later... i luv u my baby... i'll do my best to get u all that u want... :luvit: :luvit: :luvit:

dec 31st...
my father came for lebaran haji... he couldn't get the plane ticket to jakarta for this eid and year end holiday... it's a lot better to spend time with us rather than alone there in dumai coz my mom had already flown to jakarta to be with my sisters and brother, since last week... he requested to pray at the shah alam mosque... so we had to change plan again... qeqeqe... this is the first time i went to pray at shah alam mosque.. it's so beautifull... and all fully airconditioned... huwaaaaa... pasti nyaman banget solat teraweh disini... sayang papa mama gak disini... klo gak tiap malem pasti kesini... qeqeqe... the things that i didn't like is... the stairs!!! very high for the women... i need to walk 4 flight of stairs to reach the praying place for women... i couldn't imagine how old women get up there... OMG... tinggi banget... sampe pegel kaki gw... anyway... karna berangkatnya pagi masih enak milih parkir... dan karna dah kebiasaan dijakarta bawa plastik buat nyimpen sepatu sendiri klo lagi solat.. i was fully prepared and afraid of losing my new vincci shoes.. ehheeh... ;-)) karna dah tau ntar bakal rame pas solat kelar... gw turun duluan... and nunggu beruang ama papa in the car... dan mreka gak nyadar klo gw dah di mobil...iqqiqi :whist: just right after prayers i texted papa bear and told him that i am waiting at the parking lot... dia dateng dan gemes sendiri ama gw... pen jitak tu tapi gak berani karna ada papa qeqeqe... :P

deket mesjid ada yg jualan lemang... dari pada gak ada jajanan dirumah kita stop juga beli otw ke rumah... gw dah bikin nasi pecel sih... tapi kayaknya gak terlalu sukses... ya apa daya namanya masakan bumil... minta maap aja lah.. :sigh: jam 11 kita mudik ke kuala lipis... we arrived there at 13.30... and ate laksa.. special dish for lebaran at my mil's... entah karna capek atau apa ya?? stress bikin hidangan lebaran buat papa sampe lipis i had a temperature... and it got worse otw back to kl.. i would love to spend more time at my in laws... but i couldn't help it... i am sorry mak.. fever ni tak sedap betul... arrived shah alam at 19:00 and went straight to the hospital's emergency room... they only gave me panadol and vit. c... i said what?!?!?! uhmm no antibiotics? can i survive? ugggggh... it's an ugly night for me... i couldn't even feel my body due to the high temp... so i celebrated a helpless new year in my bed... i can hear the new year sparkler through d window.. would love to get up and see them but i couldn't... i felt so bad for my hubby... since he was so busy preparing food and water for me.. also tookn care of my dad for dinner and everything... jadi berdua2an lah mereka bapak dan menantu saling membahu ngeberesin rumah dari kita pulang sampe 3 hari... ngurusin gw dan diri sendiri... cian cowok2 itu... i luv u so much ayang... maaf ya aku sakit niiii....

my dad supposed to be home the next day... tapi dia cancel pulang... karna gw sakit niatnya pen nolongin beruang ngurusin gw... qeqeq tp yg ada gw yg gak enak body karna gak ngurusin dia... besok pagi gw bangun and try to make breakfast for them... yg ada almost fell down... lemes euy... habis makan yg disiapin suami back to bed and sleep!! lucky me bear had day off till jan 2... if not i'll be alone at home... and that's gonna be a sorrow to me!
i felt much better on d next day... my dad wnet home... and i couldn't accompany bear sending him to port klang... so i said goodbye at home and stayed home with my fever...
on wed... right after office hour we went back to see the md again... just wanna make sure that i'll be fine soon coz i had finished all my pills... no longer took the panadol... i only had d vit.c and pregnancy med.. it took me a week to fully recover... and able to taste the food and water well.. thank God i am OK now... hihi my mom was so worried... she asked my sister to text me every 3 hours just to make sure that i really didn't need her to fly over and take care of me here... qeqeqe ... luv u too mom... but i am fine with my hubby beside me... :luvit:

now my daily schedule is back to normal... i am now coping with every hommy task that was neglected for 2 weeks... the last thing... my cross stitch project... here's what i had done so far... what do u think?? :smug: :smug:
